Active Lighting Manager™ comprises a range of embedded lighting supervisors designed to provide cost-effective fault monitoring, reporting, and emergency light testing, for DALI lighting installations.
It offers the benefits of a full BMS or PC supervisor,
at an attractive price and with minimal set-up.
Active Lighting Manager™ uses open-protocol BACnet/IP to monitor lighting installations based on Calon SmartBridge™ lighting controllers. It auto-detects active SmartBridge™ controllers and continuously monitors for lamp and sensor faults, including emergency lighting faults.
SmartBridge™ DALI lighting controllers are installed and commissioned as normal, with a defined range of BACnet instances. Provided that they are visible to Active Lighting Manager™ on the BACnet/IP network, they are automatically recognised and all the relevant name, location and configuration data is imported from each controller without the need for any manual setup.
A dashboard provides an overview of system status, while allowing the user to interrogate the system to retrieve additional levels of detail, down to the specific nature of individual lamp faults.
An inbuilt scheduler allows up to eight groups of emergency lamps to be tested at configurable times, with both function and duration tests supported. In addition to the monitoring and diagnostic screens, details of faults are sent by email to selected users. Faults are also displayed in an alarm log.
Three versions are available: Model V30 provides a
supervisor for up to 30 DALI channels, while model
V20 provides a more detailed fault analysis for up
to 20 DALI channels. Model V50 provides
emergency light test and for up
to 50 DALI channels.
